The rusty door leading into the Alcatraz rec yard always makes for fun vistas of the Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge
The tiny little water taxi cruising along the San Francisco waterfront, with a high-speed ferry, the Richmond Bridge, and Red Rock Island in the background
Boats off of the beach at Ka'anapali at noon
An idyllic shot of Kealia Pond. The actual experience of being there involves a lot of wind, mud, and grumpy Hawaiian Stilts constantly scolding you.

Webbed foot prints leading to an outflow where the Western, California, and Glaucous-winged Gulls were going to bathe and drink after scavenging elephant seal carcasses

A view from Richardson Bay, with a number of Common and Ring-billed Gulls picking about at low tide at the front, with San Francisco shrouded in the mist in the background.

The tree closest to the famous Lone Cypress doesn't get enough attention in my opinion. When I ws there, the lines it traced against the sunset were far more compelling than anything I could see in the Lone Cypress, though!

Silhouettes of the various denizens of Bird Rock at dusk: some Brandt's Cormorants and Western and Heermann's Gulls, and a bunch of California Sea Lions on the right
