Soaring over Santa Rosa
Ballooning over Santa Rosa: a smaller balloon following us had its reflection show up in a pool below for a few brief moments

Silhouettes of the various denizens of Bird Rock at dusk: some Brandt's Cormorants and Western and Heermann's Gulls, and a bunch of California Sea Lions on the right
The sun breaking through the horizon at Haleakala

A view from Richardson Bay, with a number of Common and Ring-billed Gulls picking about at low tide at the front, with San Francisco shrouded in the mist in the background.
17-Mile Drive at sunset
The Atlanta skyline as reflected in Piedmont Park
A Western Gull with SoMA in the background
After descending into the crater and climbing back out on the Halemau'u Trails, we saw a rainbow below us somewhere over the Waikamoi forest. The clouds to the left of the rainbow gave us some pretty nasty rain and wind shortly thereafter!
